About us
We're an Arma 3 milsim based on a UKSF task force comprised of Special Forces Support Group (SFSG) and Special Boat Servce (SBS) detachments. We run deployments all around the world doing just about anything within the mission set of special forces troops. Our operations are often realistic and gritty, using real-world tactics to overcome our enemies in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
What does this mean for you? This means you get trained in effective, real-world tactics that will help you survive in just about any battlefield. You will be joining a close-knit team that prides itself on its ability to operate effectively despite what the enemy throws at them. You will be welcomed into the team and taught everything you need to know to succeed, but it doesn't just stop there; our unit is also a community where we play many other games together and we're always happy to welcome new people into the fold.
Our training pipeline
The process for joining us is very simple; just join the discord and fill out the template in the pins of the get involved channel. From there you will be given unit roles and added onto our database as a new recruit. All you need to do from that point is download the mods and schedule your Phase 1 training with one of our J7 staff, after that you will need to complete two other phases and attend an operation with us and then your time as a recruit is complete and you become a full Trooper!
Specialist roles
After you complete your time as a recruit you will be placed into our reserve section for a couple weeks in order for us to be able to gauge your activity. During that time you can conduct training in one of several job roles we have available.

Weapons Specialist

Be trained in the use of light machine guns (LMG's), underbarrel grenade launchers (UGL's) and crew served weapons like the M2 Browning Heavy Machine Gun, Mark 19 automatic grenade launcher and more!

Combat Medical Technician

Be trained in how to treat your fellow soldiers and keep them alive during operations

Marksman

Be trained in the use of long-range weapons like Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR's) and sniper rifles in order to engage targets from a distance.

Be trained in the use of breaching tools, EOD tools, entrenching equipment, explosives and more!

Special Forces Communicator (Cpl+)

Be trained in the use of radios in order to maintain communications with other detachments in the field.

Missile Specialist

Be trained how to use various missile systems ranging from M72 LAW's to FGM-148 Javelin missile systems as well as MANPADS (MAN Portable Air Defence Systems).

J-Shops
What is a J-Shop? J-Shops are departments within the unit that allow members to do things outside of the unit such as train new members, create media, analyse and decrypt intelligence and more!
J1 - Personnel and administration
J1 is the administrative heart of our unit. J1 personnel are handpicked by Task Force HQ to be the moderation staff and representatives of all sectors of the unit.
J2 - Intelligence and security
J2 is the governing hand of our operations. They collect all intelligence gathered in the field and analyse it; interrogating prisoners, decrypting encoded messages, theory-crafting about the story of the deployment and more! J2 will then provide intel briefs to our team leadership as well as briefing the entire unit during operations briefings.
J3 - Operations
J3 is the brains behind the unit. J3 staff are the ones who come up with the storyline for our operations as well as assist in creating and running the missions we all enjoy.
J4 - Logistics
J4 are the ones that keep it all going. J4 personnel handle the more logistical elements of our operations. Detachment leaders and 2IC's are able to put in equipment requests that J4 personnel will have to look over these requests and make a decision:

J5 - Media
J5 is the face of our unit. J5 staff create and post all external media for the unit such as screenshots, recruitment posts, videos and more!
J7 - Doctrine and training
J7 are the ones who give us all legs to stand on. J7 staff handle the training of all Task Force personnel whether it be recruits that are as green as grass or the grizzled veterans of our team. They are responsible for training individuals in their respective job roles and have the opportunity to specialise in their own job roles as well to progress up through the ranks. J7 staff are also essential in the addition of new tactics and doctrines to the unit, field testing them before they are fully implemented to ensure the practicality and effectiveness of new strategies.
Joint Special Forces Selection
Occasionally our Special Boat Service section will open up Joint Special Forces Selection in order to select new additions to our team. Anyone in the unit above the rank of Trooper is able to join in selection and should you pass you will become a Marine as part of the SBS and will undergo continuation training to develop your skills even further. Selection is stressful and will put your skills to the test.
